Can having fifth's disease as an adult effect short or long term memory?

a friend of mine blames past and current problems with memory because of having when through fifth's disease undiagnosed because of being too sick to go the the hospital. Tried to but passed out and woke up the next morning feeling well enough to go then. Had the typical rash associated with fifth's disease. Can memory loss be attributed to this! A son was diagnosed at the same time.
